ReTHINGing: Sculpture in Singapore 2021 commemorates the 20th anniversary of Sculpture Society Singapore (SSS). This showcase of exhibitions at four different venues features artworks not only from SSS members, but also non-members and invited artists. In the 20 years since SSS was founded, there has perhaps not been such a major enterprise evaluating contemporary sculpture in Singapore. It is timely, given the advancing digital pace of life, that such an evaluation coincides with this major milestone for the SSS and the domain of sculpture practices.
